Ella Fitzgerald – Summertime

As I’m in the midst of the exams (or ‘in mezzo ai guai’, in a not-so-literal translation in italian) blogging will continue to be sparse over the next weeks. I have yet to figure out what exactly I’ll do with this blog when my stay here in Florence is over.
I have, however, a couple of jewels in store for you, mostly music and pictures I’ve found on the web but never got around to post here. So do come back from time to time.

Jovanotti is known well beyond the borders Italy, and rightly so. While I don’t like all of his songs, they are usually produced very well. This is the case for Baciami Ancora, which I discovered not long ago. Jovanotti excels in the art of packaging feelings of happiness into simple yet poetical lyrics.
The video is even sweeter than the lyrics and watching it you get the feeling of finding yourself in four and a half minutes of advertisment on TV. Anyhow, I cannot resist showing it to you.
